Do Not Forget To Pay Zakāt-ul-Fiṭr Before ‘Eīd Prayer Commences, It’s An Obligation Upon Every Muslim

قال وكيع بن الجراح : زكاة الفطر لشهر رمضان كسجدتي السهو للصلاة تجبر نقصان الصوم كما يجبر السهو نقصان الصلاة.


Imaam Wakī’ b. al-Jarrāḥ Raḥimahullāh said:

“Zakāt-ul-Fiṭr for the month of Ramaḍān is like the Sajdat-ul-Sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) for the prayer. It compensates for the deficiencies of fasting just as the Sajdat-ul-Sahw compensates for the deficiencies of prayer.”
