Talha ibn Ubaidullah (May Allah be pleased with Him) narrated: ‘At the sight of the new moon ( of the lunar month), Allah’s Messenger (Peace and Blessings Be a upon Him) used to supplicate :
”Allahumma ahillahu alaina bil-Amni wal-Imani,was-Salaamati wal-Islami, Rabbi wa Rabbuka-Allah.”
